The AquaMAX 340, five star energy rated water heater has all the features of the 390, with the exception of the mixing valve. Specifically designed for installation in new homes, where an approved tempering valve must be fitted by law to guard against scalding. Your plumber will fit an approved tempering valve on the hot water line, restricting water to a maximum of 50ºC (in this type of installation, the mixing valve is of no additional benefit). Or you can also add our multi-fit Tempering Valve Kit to the AquaMAX 340, and vary the hot water temperature at each point in your home. Water can then be supplied for example, at 65ºC in the kitchen and laundry, with bathroom and ensuite outlets receiving 50ºC or lower. |
